Pillen Announces Re-Election Campaign for Governor

Jim Pillen 2024

LINCOLN, Neb. – Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen launched his re-election campaign on Thursday morning, touting his record of delivering conservative wins for Nebraska and promising to continue fighting alongside President Trump.

“I ran for governor with a clear mission: make our great state even greater. Together, we are doing just that.” Pillen said. “We've delivered tax relief, defended Nebraska's conservative values, and proudly advanced President Trump's agenda.”

“Nebraska is stronger, safer, and freer – but if you learn anything growing up on the farm, there’s always more work to do,” Pillen stated.

As governor, Pillen has delivered historic tax relief, raised pay for state troopers, signed constitutional carry into law, and helped President Trump secure the border. Pillen also highlighted Nebraska’s successful fight against the woke agenda: banning men in girls’ sports, stopping sex changes for minors, and ending woke DEI.

The campaign released a video announcing Governor Pillen’s re-election, which can be viewed HERE. A transcript of the video is below.

Nebraska is the greatest place in the world. The only place I've ever called home. I ran for governor with a clear mission: make our great state even greater. And together, we're doing just that.

We signed the largest income tax cut in Nebraska history and reduced property taxes. Today, more Nebraskans are keeping more of their paychecks than ever before. And we're not done yet. Growing up on a tenant farm, dad taught us to work hard, play by the rules, and fight for what you believe in.

That's why we raised pay for our state troopers, to treat them like the heroes they are. That's why we support our Second Amendment and signed constitutional carry into law. And that's why we stand with President Trump and sent Nebraska National Guard troops to stop the illegal invasion at the border.

Out here, we still know right from wrong. We fought to keep men out of girls' sports, criminalized sex changes for minors, and banned woke, DEI nonsense. Because here in Nebraska, it's what you do, not how you look, that still determines how far you go.

If you learn anything growing up on the farm, there's always more work to do. But if you keep your head down and work hard, anything is possible. I'm Jim Pillen. I love Nebraska, and I'd be honored to have your support.
