MNB Seniors Defeated By Lincoln Christian

MNB Seniors could not keep pace with Lincoln Christian 10-7 on Monday at Buffalo Park.
MNB Seniors were the first to get on the board in the first when Kooper Rakes hit a solo home run to center field.
Lincoln Christian captured the lead, 2-1, in the top of the second after Maddox Eppenbach tripled to left field, and Drew Mittan singled to center field, each scoring one run.
In the bottom of the second inning, MNB Seniors went back into the lead after Bo Schlegel grounded into a fielder's choice, Jaime Samaniego singled , and Lincoln Christian committed an error, each scoring one run.
Paxton Bailey homered to left field on the seventh pitch of the at-bat, which helped Lincoln Christian tie the game at four in the top of the third.
Lincoln Christian flipped the game on its head in the top of the fourth, scoring five runs on four hits to take the lead, 9-4. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Kiffin Brink that drove in two.
Kale Sattler hit a solo home run to right field in the bottom of the seventh for the MNB Seniors

Rakes provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led MNB Seniors with two runs batted in. The 3-hole hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. MNB Seniors turned two double plays in the game.
