MNB Senior Defeat Wood River On Multiple Hit Performance By Cole Davidson

Cole Davidson collected four hits in four at bats, as MNB Seniors defeated Wood River 18-3 on Saturday. Davidson singled in the fourth inning, singled in the first inning, singled in the third inning, and singled in the third inning.
 
Wood River were the first to get on the board in the first when Owen Scarborough-Strauss singled, scoring one run.
 
In the bottom of the first inning, MNB Seniors went back into the lead after Wood River committed an error, and Davidson singled to center field, each scoring one run.
 
Wood River took the lead in the top of the second inning after Matt Duval singled to center field, Brooks Lowe flew out, and Briggs Doane singled to center field, each scoring one run.
 
MNB Seniors took the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Jaime Samaniego flew out, and Asher Wilson singled to left field, each scoring one run.
 
MNB Seniors scored seven runs on five hits in the bottom of the third inning. Trenton Raile doubled, scoring two runs, Samaniego singled, scoring three runs, Kale Sattler doubled, scoring one run, and Davidson singled, scoring one run.
 
MNB Seniors scored seven runs on five hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. Wilson doubled, scoring two runs, Bryson Gullion doubled, scoring one run, Sattler drew a walk, scoring one run, Davidson singled, scoring two runs, and Abel Wilson singled, scoring one run.
 
Kaden Riggins stepped on the hill first for MNB Seniors. The pitcher allowed seven hits and four runs (three earned) over four innings, striking out two and walking one. Scarborough-Strauss began the game for Wood River. The hurler allowed two hits and four runs (three earned) over one inning, striking out one and walking three.
 
MNB Seniors amassed 13 hits in the game. Wilson and Davidson each drove in three runs for MNB SeniorsGullion collected two hits for MNB Seniors in four at bats. MNB Seniors had a strong eye at the plate, collecting seven walks for the game. Bo Schlegel and Kooper Rakes led the team with two free passes each. WilsonDavidsonSattlerSchlegel, and Gullion each stole multiple bases for MNB Seniors. MNB Seniors stole 14 bases in the game.
 
Gavyn Johnson went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Wood River in hits. DuvalDoane, and Lowe each drove in one run for Wood River.
