McCook MNB Seniors Defeat Minden On Multiple Hit Performance By Quentin Terry

Quentin Terry collected three hits in three at bats, as McCook MNB Seniors defeated Minden 10-3 on Monday at McCook. Terry hit a solo home run to center field in the sixth inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the third inning.

McCook MNB Seniors won thanks in part to seven runs in the fifth inning. Terry drew a walk, scoring one run, Espn Hall singled, scoring two runs, Noah Mashek doubled, scoring one run, and Miles Pollmann singled, scoring two runs.

McCook MNB Seniors got on the board in the first inning after Mashek doubled, scoring two runs.

Kade Dorzynski singled to center field, which helped Minden tie the game at two in the bottom of the third.

Terry hit a solo home run to center field in the top of the sixth for the McCook MNB Seniors.

Brody Graham earned the win for McCook MNB Seniors. The starter surrendered six hits and two runs over four and one-third innings, striking out seven and walking six. Jake Halvorsen took the loss for Minden. The starting pitcher went four innings, surrendering seven runs on 11 hits, striking out four and walking two. Simon Garcia tossed one inning of zero-run ball for McCook MNB Seniors in relief. The pitcher allowed zero hits, striking out one and walking none.

McCook MNB Seniors collected 17 hits in the game. Mashek led McCook MNB Seniors with three runs batted in. The left fielder went 4-for-4 on the day. Trey Tiller, Terry, Pollmann, and Bryson Gullion each collected multiple hits for McCook MNB Seniors.

Dorzynski provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Minden with two runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Luke Grollmes led Minden with two hits in two at bats. Minden Post had patience at the plate, amassing six walks for the game. Mason Bolin and #12 led the team with two bases on balls each. Minden turned two double plays in the game. Minden were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Jose Cuellar had the most chances in the field with seven.

McCook MNB Seniors will travel to Buckley Bombers (Chappell) in a double header for their next game on Tuesday at 5:30pm.
