McCook Golf Team Finishes Runner-Up at North Platte

The McCook Golf Team traveled to North Platte on Monday, May 5th.  McCook turned in a team score of a 313.  Landon Kmoch led the Bison with a score of a 77, Kolton Koetter shot a 78, Reid and Keaton Loop both shot a 79, and Trenton Raile finished with an 83. McCook Golf Team back in action on Thursday for the Southwest Conference invite in Valentine.

Comments from Head Coach Ben Vetrovsky: "Solid day on the course for the Bison golfers. Anytime you can score 4 guys in the 70s that is a good day. Kolton Koetter had a great bounce back round from the last invite bringing home a medal. Landon and Reid struggled to start the rounds but they both showed a lot of grit on the last few holes to finish the day. Keaton growth as a freshman continues to improve and it is really exciting to see. Trenton is a couple swings away from breaking the 80 mark again. We look forward to teeing it up at Valentine for the Southwest Conference on Thursday."
