McCook Golf Team Finishes Runner-Up at Hastings

The McCook Boys Golf Team traveled to Hastings on Thursday, April 17th.  McCook would finish Runner-Up with a team score of 310.  Kearney won the invite with a team low of 290. 

Individually for McCook Reid Loop placed 7th and shot a 74, Trenton Raile finished 14th and shot a 78, Keaton Loop finished 15th with a score of 79, Kolton Koetter 16th with a 79, and Landon Kmoch 17th with a 80.  Full team and individual scores below.

McCook Golf Team back in action on Tuesday for the McCook Invite at Heritage Hills.

Comments from Head Coach Ben Vetrovsky: "Extremely nice weather conditions on the golf course. Lochland Country Club is always in great shape and the players took advantage of the conditions. Reid Loop had another great day on the course. He is striking the ball really well. It was nice to see Kolton Koetter break the 80 mark for the second time this year. Both Trenton and Keaton had personal records today shooting 78 and 79. Landon Kmoch also had a nice day on the course as well. Overall, the players are playing some solid golf. It was a total team effort today. We look forward to teeing it up next Tuesday at our home invite."
