McCook Boys Golf Team Finishes 2nd at North Platte Invite

McCook Bison boys golf team played Lake Maloney Golf Course on March 22nd for the North Platte Golf Invitational. Kearney Bearcats won the invite with a score of 311 and the Bison were 2nd with a 328 in the field of 15 teams. Cole Graham and Reid Loop lead the team individually. They both tied for 3rd with scores of 78. Landon Kmoch was a top 15 finisher with a round of 83. Trenton Raile and Kolton Koetter finished the day with scores of 89 and 93.

"Solid start to the season. Proud of how the players handled the cold weather conditions. Reid Loop and Cole Graham had nice days breaking the 80 mark. They continue to show they can compete to finish at the top of the leaderboard. Landon Kmoch caught a couple tough breaks in his round but was able to still stay composed and finish in the top 15. Trenton had a really nice day breaking 90 in his first varsity event. Trenton will continue to progress throughout the season. Kolton continues to improve his game, unfortunately his score didn't quite show all his hard work he has put in."
