MCC Volleyball swept at Trinidad

TRINIDAD, Colo. – The McCook Community College volleyball team fell in straight sets Friday on the road at Trinidad.
MCC lost 21-25, 23-25 and 23-25.
“We need to work on our road play,” said MCC Coach Hayley Kobza. “It’s like we don’t get off the bus ready to get to work.”
Statistics were not immediately available.
Trinidad goes to 12-11 on the season and 5-3 in the Region IX South standings.
MCC falls to 9-13 and drops into a third-place tie in the standings with a 5-3 mark.
Northeaster Junior College leads the standings at 8-0, Western Nebraska second at 6-2. North Platte is fifth at 3-4, Lamar sixth at 3-5, Otero College seventh at 1-7 and Southeast Community College eighth at 0-7.
The Lady Indians travel to La Junta, Colo. Saturday for a match with Otero College.
