HUTCHINSON, Kan. – After splitting two games Saturday, the McCook Community College volleyball team capped the Hutchinson Blue Dragon Tournament with a 2-2 mark.

MCC dropped its opening match Saturday to Missouri State University-West Plains 0-3 then came back to sweep past Butler Community College 3-0.

“This was not the weekend we wanted, but when you lose you learn,” said MCC Coach Hayley Kobza. “We have some things we need to straighten out before region play, so we are going to take the time to do that this next week.”

Missouri State University-West Plains goes to 13-4 on the season and Butler goes to 9-10.

“This was our first time attending the Hutch tournament and I will say they ran a great and a solid tournament all around,” said Kobza.
