Latest Weather Update on Winter Weather from NWS

Key Message #1:
For now, there have been NO CHANGES to ongoing Winter Weather Advisory and Winter Storm Warning. IN GENERAL, final/eventual snow totals in the Warning are expected to range from 5-7", and in the Advisory 3-6". Officially, these products still run through 6 PM, but with accumulating snow likely ending in most areas no later than Noon-3 PM, early cancellation is certainly possible.
Key Message #2:
Once snow moves out, our attention turns to the bitterly cold temperatures/wind chills anticipated late tonight into Thurs AM. With wind chills expected to bottom out -15 to -25 degrees, this has triggered a COLD WEATHER ADVISORY for our entire 30-county area.
