Information on Nebraska Football Fan Day & Big Red Preview

Nebraska Football Fan Day is set for the afternoon of Saturday, Aug. 2, followed by the Big Red Preview open practice in the evening.
Fan Day is a free event that runs from 4:30 to 6 p.m. inside the Hawks Championship Center. Doors for Fan Day will open at 4:30 p.m. The Big Red Preview presented by 1890 will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Memorial Stadium, with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. Cost for the Big Red Preview is $30 for West Stadium club tickets, $20 for adult general admission tickets and $10 for youth (high school and under) general admission tickets. A $1 fee will be added to each ticket.

Fan Day Event Details (Hawks Championship Center, 4:30 – 6 p.m.)
- The Fan Day map is now available on Huskers.com.
- Parking on city campus will be open to the public for those attending either Fan Day, the Big Red Preview, or both. Some lots close to Memorial Stadium will be restricted to team and support staffs only. The parking garages at 10th and T St. and 14th and Salt Creek Roadway will be open for patrons as well. Please note that the Champions Club lot directly west of the stadium is closed for a private event.
- Fans may enter/exit through two entrances on the West side of the Hawks Championship Center.
- Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. Lines will form outside of the Hawks Center on the Southwest and Northwest corners of the building.
- The Clear Bag Policy is not in effect, but all fans/items are subject to inspection.
- Memorial Stadium & the Osborne Legacy Complex will not be open to the public.
- Restrooms will be available in the lobby (Southwest corner of the building).
- Concessions will be located on the west sideline. Water, pop and Gatorade will be available but will be cashless.
- Fan Day will end and players will leave the field promptly at 6 p.m.
- Even though the event is inside, fans are encouraged to take precautions due to the potential for extreme heat. Water may be brought into the event and will also be available to purchase.
- Coach Rhule’s line is limited to pre-selected fans 8th grade and younger. The deadline to sign up is Wednesday, July 30th @ 5 pm. Sign up here.
- Fans must limit autograph requests to one item per player.
- Posters and a roster/autograph card will be available for fans at the event.
- A Huskers Fan Shop location with the latest adidas apparel and other merchandise will be located inside on the West sideline near the 50-yard line.
Big Red Preview Details (Memorial Stadium, 6:30 p.m.)
- Tickets are available to purchase for the Big Red Preview.
- Fans can purchase tickets in person on Saturday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Gate 10 ticket windows located outside the Northwest corner of Memorial Stadium.

- Event organizers encourage patrons to park where they can on a first-come, first-serve basis while capacity allows. Other paid parking options exist in the downtown area.
- Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. Fans can enter through Gates 4, 10 or 11.
- Fans with Club level tickets should enter through Gate 7/West Stadium Lobby.
- Fans with limited mobility should enter through Gate 11, which is ADA accessible.
- There is no re-entry allowed for the Big Red Preview.
- Memorial Stadium’s clear bag policy is in effect and patrons will be screened through the stadium’s walkthrough screening devices.
- Not outside food or drink will be allowed.
- Seating is general admission in West Stadium only (sections 21-31).
- Field-level ADA seating will be available in North Stadium to accommodate patrons with limited mobility.
- Concessions, including beer, will be available on the main concourse of West Stadium and on field level in North Stadium (for ADA patrons). Concessions will be cashless.
