Good Samaritan Annual Olympiad 5K Set for June 29

KEARNEY - CHI Health Good Samaritan’s annual Olympiad 5K is set for Saturday, June 29. Runners and walkers will start the race on Avenue A east of the Good Samaritan Emergency Room at 7:30 am. Participant check-in and day-of-race registration, located near the race’s start in Good Samaritan’s Parking Lot K, will begin at 6:30 until 7:15 a.m. 

Only participants entered before June 17 will receive a commemorative T-shirt. To pre-register visit www.chihealthevents.com. Cost for entry is $15 plus processing fees. 

Competing on paved residential streets, participants will complete a 3.1-mile loop with the race’s start and finish on Avenue A east of CHI Health Good Samaritan’s Emergency Room. Medals will be awarded to the 1st through 3rd place runners in each age group. If you registered for the Olympiad 5K through the Community Olympic Games, you’re already entered. 

This event, one of the largest and longest running 5K in central Nebraska, is sponsored by CHI Health Good Samaritan in conjunction with Kearney Park and Recreation.
