Person Involved: Jason Portillo Renderos, Grand Island, 19 years old

Brief Narrative: On August 15th, 2026 at 01:09, a traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle observed to be traveling at a high rate of speed while failing to stop for a stop light. Once the traffic stop was initiated, the vehicle fled at a higher rate of speed and failed to stop at a stop sign. The traffic stop was discontinued due to safety concerns. This case is open. 
On 08/22/26 at 2139 officers made voluntary contact with Jason Porfillo. Jason admitted to
fleeing from officers during a traffic stop. The suspect vehicle was located and towed to impound.
Jason was booked into the Hall County Jail.

Brief Narrative: On August 15th, 2026 at 22:26, a traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle near
3rd Street and Madison Street for no registration. The vehicle fled at a very high rate of speed
eastbound on 3rd Street passing vehicles in the opposing lane. This case is open.
