Fonner Park Named Grand Island Area Economic Development Corporation and Chamber of Commerce’s 2026 Business of the Year

GRAND ISLAND, NE — Hall County Livestock Improvement Association DBA Fonner Park has been named the 2026 Business of the Year by the Grand Island Area Economic Development Corporation (GIAEDC) and the Grand Island Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees. This prestigious recognition was celebrated during the GIAEDC’s and Chamber Annual Meeting, held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Boulder Flatts. The event began with a social at 5:30 p.m., followed by the formal program at 6:30 p.m.

The Business of the Year award honors a company or organization that has demonstrated outstanding leadership, growth, and community impact. Fonner Park exemplifies these qualities through its continued expansion of air service, commitment to customer experience, and vital role in regional connectivity and economic development.
