Flags to Fly at Half-Staff in Accordance with President’s Order

LINCOLN, NE – In accordance with an order issued by President Trump, Governor Jim Pillen is requesting that Nebraskans fly their flags at half-staff for Dolly Parton. Parton died today. She was 80 years old.
 
President Trump shared that the order was “a mark of respect for the memory of Parton,” who had established herself as a country singer, entertainer, businesswoman and philanthropist.  The President has requested that flags be flown at half-staff immediately and until sunset Sept. 1.
