Fish Cleaning Station at Lake Maloney SRA Temporarily Closed

The fish cleaning station located at the main campground/outlet area on the east side of Lake Maloney State Recreation Area will be temporarily closed beginning Monday, July 13, while a new, upgraded fish cleaning station is installed.

Construction is expected to take approximately five days, with the station anticipated to reopen on Friday, July 17.

The new Barracuda fish cleaning station is designed to provide anglers with more efficient, reliable, and user-friendly fish cleaning. The stainless-steel station includes many improved features along with an ADA-accessible work area. The upgraded design is built to reduce maintenance needs while improving cleanliness for visitors.

Lake Maloney SRA is located about six-miles south of North Platte.
