Dundy County-Stratton Defeates Boyd County To Advance

Benkelman, NE - Didn't take long before DCS found success on the ground with running back Ethan Latta scoring 5 rushing touchdowns on the day and took an interception for a touchdown.  Also getting in on the scoring for the Tigers was a Touchdown pass from Quarterback Dante Horner to Breck Horner for 24 yards as well as a 65 yard TD run by DeAndre Hill, and a 4 yard TD by Blaine Aldridge as the DCS Tigers won big over Boyd County 62-16 in the opening round of the Class D1 playoffs.  Now (7-1) Dundy County-Stratton the 5th seed will advance onto the second round next Friday, November 1st and will host #12 seed Lourdes Central Catholic (6-2).
