Carter Named Interim Golf Coach at NPCC

The North Platte Community College athletic department has named Mitch Carter interim golf coach for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.
Carter relocated to Nebraska in November after his wife accepted a position as a registered nurse at a healthcare facility in Broken Bow. A native of Adelaide, Australia, Carter is both a United States and Australian PGA Professional. He succeeds Will Peers, who stepped down in early January.
“I look forward to helping our student-athletes continue to improve individually and as a team during the second semester,” Carter said.
