Aurora Schools Went Into Lockdown for a Time

Aurora – At approximately 8:20 a.m., The Aurora Police Department dispatch received a report of an active threat at the Aurora High School. The school administration was immediately notified by law enforcement about the threat and went directly into lockdown.

Upon Law Enforcement’s arrival, the High School was secured and searched with the assistance of school administrative staff. There was no threat identified or located in the school. Out of precaution, the Middle School was searched and there was no threat identified or located. Law enforcement cleared the scene at approximately 10:15 A.M.
