Adams Central Defeated McCook Tuesday Night

McCook Varsity Bison fell to Adams Central 6-4 on Tuesday.

Adams Central added one run in the third after Macie Deines singled to center field.

Joshlyn Konen earned the win for Adams Central. The reliever allowed three hits and two runs (one earned) over four innings, striking out four and walking one. Gracey Cornelsen took the loss for McCook Varsity Bison. The righty went six and two-thirds innings, giving up three runs (one earned) on four hits, striking out nine and walking one.

Zoe Kinne-Garcia, Cassidy Rogers, and Ellie Havlicek each collected one hit for McCook Varsity Bison.

Lucy Svoboda, Lakyn Lewis, and Macie Deines each drove in one run for Adams Central. Jordyn Pracht led Adams Central with two hits in four at bats. Adams Central turned one double play in the game.

Next up for McCook Varsity Bison is a game against St. Cecilia on Thursday in a game that can be heard on 93.9 The Zone starting at 5:30pm.
