2025 ADGA National Show to be held at the Nebraska State Fairgrounds

GRAND ISLAND, NEBR: The American Dairy Goat Association, the most trusted dairy goat registry since 1904, is excited to announce the 2025 ADGA National Show to be held at the Nebraska State Fairgrounds in Grand Island.
The ADGA National Show attracts over five hundred goat breeders and 3000 animals to its annual event. The event begins with a weekend full of youth events, including the knowledge, judging, and fitting contest, and youth showmanship.
On Sunday afternoon, the breed shows begin, featuring the nine different breeds accepted in the National Show. Visitors will witness the awarding of class winners after the judges make the “cut” for each class, as well as the excitement of a beautiful animal winning Junior Champion, Senior Champion, and the National Champion for each breed. Youth participating in the embedded shows can also be highlighted by winning the Youth Premier Junior or Senior Doe.
Exhibitors also enter production contests in addition to aiming to be named Premier Breeder or Exhibitor of the National Show.
The week concludes on Thursday afternoon with the ADGA Spotlight Sale. This year’s sale features 16 different lots, with 19 elite animals consigned. This event is open to those with ADGA-registered dairy goats and anyone who is interested in being a spectator at the event.
Exhibitor and National Show Committee member, Jason Peckham, says, “The ADGA National Show is more than a competition, it’s a showcase of excellence, community, and passion. Whether you are a breeder, admirer, or just curious, the ADGA National Show is the best place to witness the best of the best in America.”
Based in Spindale, North Carolina, the American Dairy Goat Association preserves pedigrees, maintains herdbooks, and sanctions dairy goat shows in addition to offering performance programs.
