Grand Island Man Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography

(GRAND ISLAND, NEB.)  — A Grand Island man has been arrested following a child exploitation investigation conducted by the Nebraska State Patrol Tech Crimes Unit, which assistance from the Grand Island Police Department.

The investigation began in 2022, when NSP received a cyber tip through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The tip focused on a Google Drive account that contained images of child pornography.

Further investigation led NSP to perform a search warrant on a residence at 904 W 16th St. in Grand Island, where numerous images of child pornography were located. Following the issuance of an arrest warrant Tuesday, Slevin Sanchez, 33, was arrested by the Grand Island Police Department on multiple counts of possession of child pornography. He was lodged in Hall County Jail.
