Ron Coleman Golf Invite Results

McCook Bison Varsity and Junior Varsity teams competed in the Ron Coleman Invitational at Heritage Hills Golf Course. There were 13 teams in the field and the varsity team finished second and the JV team finished 12th. York won the invite with a score of 307 and the Bison finished with a 318. Holdrege was third in the event with a score of 355.

Reid Loop led the Bison individually with a runner up finish with a score of 75. Landon Kmoch was a top 5 finisher (5th place) with a score of 78. Cole Graham was a top 10 finisher (8th place) with a score of 81, and Kolton Koeter was a top 15 finisher (12th place) with a score of 84. Trenton Raile carded a 90.

Jalen Collicott led the JV team with a score of 89. Other JV scores included Cruz McCarty 97, Cason Waugh 99, Kyson Barger 99, and Brody Anthony 99.  

Comments from Head Coach Ben Vetrovsky: "Beautiful weather conditions at Heritage Hills. Proud of how the guys played today. We showed that we can compete with the best in Class B. Reid Loop continues to show that he is one of the top individual players in the state. Landon Kmoch struggled a little on the front nine, but battled back and shot even par on the back. Super proud of this grit. Cole Graham once again takes home a medal. He is a couple holes away from being a top 3 finisher in the event. Kolton Koetter is still getting over an illness and I am so proud of how he finished his back nine with a score of 40."
